On behalf of the Chatham-Kent Growth Alliance (CKGA), we are pleased to invite you to participate in our upcoming Municipal Candidate Open House.

Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Doors open at 6:15 p.m.)
Location: The Chatham Armoury, 44 William St. N., Chatham-Kent, ON N7M 4L5

The Chatham-Kent Growth Alliance is a coalition of organizations representing agriculture, housing, real estate, property rights, and local business. Our members include the Kent Federation of Agriculture, Grain Farmers of Ontario (District 2), Chatham-Kent Essex Christian Farmers Federation, Chatham-Kent Property Rights Association, Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers, Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, Chatham-Kent Home Builders Association, and the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce.

This event is designed to give residents, farmers, builders, realtors, and local business leaders the opportunity to hear directly from the people asking for their vote. It will also allow candidates to engage with key economic stakeholders in Chatham-Kent.

Event Format: (formal agenda to come)

• Meet the mayoral candidates
• Meet representatives from the organizations that make up the CK Growth Alliance
• Round-table discussions involving ward candidates and CKGA representatives and general public

The evening will focus on four priorities identified by the Alliance as essential to Chatham-Kent’s continued growth and competitiveness:

1. Consult early and often – Engage farmers, growers, builders, realtors and local industry before major decisions are made.
2. Fiscal responsibility and transparency
3. Invest in infrastructure – Roads, bridges, drainage and servicing that support modern equipment, farm operations and new construction.
4. Ensure fair and sustainable taxes

This is a non-partisan event. The Chatham-Kent Growth Alliance does not endorse candidates. Our goal is to help inform municipal candidates on the policies and priorities that drive investment, housing, agriculture, economic development, and long-term prosperity for all.

Spectators are welcome, and the general public is invited to register and observe. Seating will be available.
